Short summary of my life.

I am a eczema sufferer since young. After my national services, my eczema got really out of control. Every time when there is a outbreak, I went to the national skin center and they as usual will prescribed me atopic steroid cream and if serious an injection as well. Overtime the effects of the steroid will get shorter and shorter and the low strength steroid getting less effective.

One day my sister reckons it could it be steroid cream itself causing the problem. I do a research on the internet. At first I really wish it wasn’t the steroid causing it as that point of time, as steroids is my lifeline for flareup. Turn out my body got addicted to the steroid and that is a term call Red Skin Syndrome or atopic steroid withdrawal. As I am a long term user since young, my recovery process will takes a long time. Overtime it will get better and better but it’s a slow and grueling process.

I wanted to start this blog as I want to relive again as now I got better. About my investment history, I was lucky to intro to my dad’s friend who is one of top 30 Forbes Singaporean. Mother of Aspial and Fragrance hotel.

After the Lehman crisis of 2008, Lots of discounted and bargain stocks. My dad handed me his margin portfolio on 2012. That point of time, lots of property counters was so cheap and way below valuation. Chip Eng Seng Example was like 10% dividend yield and PE ratio and NAV was way too low. Guthrie GTS that point of time I speculated that they will Spin out its Jurong Point and Nex into reits, turn out even better, privatization. Earned 70K on this investment alone. Total made about 200k and only to lost all my profit on the 2015 Oil market crashed. Lesson learnt, have my operation risk in place and don’t over-leverage and I do not know the oil industry well and just pure speculation.
